How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2022Īll Xbox Games With Mouse & Keyboard SupportĪll New Xbox Games Coming Out In November 2022 Having said that, wouldn’t it be ace to be able to toggle-hide everything, so we could enjoy our backgrounds, instead of peering round them… I love the Home menu integration, especially as it’s fairly customisable, so I know how to get to most settings fairly quickly and easily. There must surely be a metadata field they can add to Xbox captures that shows them as being legitimate media for transferring, in this day and age.Īs for the OS, yeah that’s pretty rough on older last-gen, though I didn’t remember it being that bad when I was still using my One X - and on Series X, I love how snappy it is, for the most part. Once they are, I’d much appreciate the chance to make much longer captures (a la PS4 / Xbox external HD), and also the option to copy my externally captured clips to my internal storage, for uploading on console, instead of my PC (though if they massively extend the internal capture limit, I’d stick to internal). Of course, there are still a multitude of reliability issues with Xbox Game DVR, and so they need sorting asap. I can upload to my OneDrive / social media from within the captures list, where the PS4 has to copy to external media first (unless you’re sharing to social media)., and takes a looooong time to do even that. Having said that, the ease with which I can get my internal Xbox captures off the console is streets ahead of what I saw on my PS4. Plus, capturing to an external drive helps to solve the issue of longer captures, though then you run into limitations with sharing media from an external drive, which is so frustrating. I think my PS4 is even limited to 720p captures, which was a surprise, as my old old One S supported 1080p for a long time. Mon 17th Jan I get what you’re saying, but apart from the PS4 allowing much longer captures, I think the Xbox Game DVR is better for me.
